Delete your Busy Signal account and data

Busy Signal is a game by LCUBO Studios (Leonardo Lazzaro). You can request account and associated-data deletion here without installing or reopening the Android app. Deletion applies to your shared Busy Signal account on every platform.

Request deletion

For an account linked to Google, verify it below using the same Google sign-in you used in Busy Signal. Sign-in alone does not request deletion: you must confirm it afterwards. If you choose a different Google account, it may create a new, empty Busy Signal account; check the account before confirming.

You can also request deletion by email below.

Steam, lost access, guest data, or sign-in unavailable? Email support@playbusysignal.com with the subject “Busy Signal account and data deletion”. This is also a valid deletion-request route without reinstalling the app. Include the provider you used and, if known, your Busy Signal player ID or approximate play dates. A nickname alone may not locate or prove ownership of an account. Never send passwords, authentication tokens, or identity documents in your initial request.

Verification and timing

Browser deletion requires a recent verified sign-in and your explicit confirmation. For email requests, we reply with proportionate ownership-verification steps; your email address alone is not proof of a Google or Steam account. If you cannot sign in, we will explain the available recovery options and any information we cannot reliably identify.

Once the account service accepts deletion, it revokes account sessions and removes linked sign-in identities and the public nickname. Associated-data cleanup is requested at the same time; it can continue after sign-out. We normally respond to email requests and complete applicable data cleanup within one month, and explain any permitted extension or retained records. Contact us at the address above for progress or if a request fails. Do not assume a failed browser request completed.

What is deleted and what may remain

The deletion workflow removes your account’s leaderboard entries and player-linked match history, and deletes analytics sessions, activity and installation associations that can be linked to that account. Shared results belonging to other players and match statistics that do not contain your account or installation link may remain. Signing up again creates a new account; it does not restore the old history.

A minimal deleted-account identifier and keyed analytics suppression records remain to stop old uploads or backup restores from rebuilding your history. These are restricted deletion-safety records, not a retained player profile. Security or moderation evidence may be retained only where justified for preventing abuse, handling a dispute or a legal obligation; we explain applicable exceptions when responding. Logs and isolated failed-upload records require operational review as part of the request.

Active records and backups have different schedules. The configured account backup script removes copies older than 14 days when it runs successfully (its daily schedule can add roughly a day). Statistics backups currently keep the latest 14 successful copies, not a guaranteed 14-day expiry; failed backup runs can extend that period. Legacy or off-host copies require operator review. We track this review and do not describe an unfinished cleanup as complete. Restores must reapply deletion records before services reopen.

Device settings, guest identifiers and offline queues are separate local data. Clear the app’s storage or browser site data to remove them. Unlinked guest records may not be identifiable from your account; you can request help by email. Google, Steam and Google Play account data are managed by those providers; deleting Busy Signal does not delete your provider account.
